Unlikely as this must sound I consider it to be North Korea. North Korea is at a point in time where Kim Jong Un must begin to consider the ambitions of the large young population.
His people are committed, many are now educated and they will want information. However their dedication to their leader comes at a cost to Kim Jong Un. He will have to materialise the dream of expectation.
Kim Jung Un is no fool. We easily forget how young he is. He knows he somehow has to bring his people into the new century, but without the exposure to the pitfalls of the west and the rise of an opposition that could result in civil war.
I do not understand why Obama in his 8 years as President did not just get on a Plane to say ‘Hi. How can we do business’?
I would have done so and possibly Donald Trump will. It would have done so much to defuse the tensions that exist. Sending over a B2 with nuclear weapons was not a smart move.
North Korea is a potential Goldmine. Given the right economic model it could be the next rising star. But North Korea also has to face Climate Change and a population that will need food. Nuclear weapons are not going to put off drought and flooding. Kim Jong Un will need expertise to modernise and increase yield/acre .
North Korea has made its point and now Kim Jong Un must show leadership to the World. All he needs is a Western country to partner him. China will only swamp him and use the people for cheap labour. Putin has made his life’s mistake by backing Assad and would appear to see military expansion as his economic salvation.
Kim Jong Un needs an Investment Partner and Donald Trump may be the man. Kim Jong Un is not the fool the Western media portray him as. Any country that partners him will have to be prepared to accept his Grandfather’s vision for the people of North Korea.
Tourism is a huge growth Industry for North Korea and his young population will be a ready market for Western Technologies. North Korea is on my visiting list and I will be making an appointment to meet with Kim Jong Un – I once wrote a poem about his Grandfather and I will present it to him. Peace comes by actions of friendship not by B2 Bombers armed with nuclear weapons
