Does loneliness affect peace and happiness?

So if you are lonely then begin tomorrow by observing the World around you and assessing your own needs and wants against that which it has to offer you not that which it has to take away from you.

‘Know who you are then you can be who you are’.

Absolutely. Until you are able to provide yourself with the Powers of Observation necessary to assess the World around you objectively with subjective Parameters then you will not achieve Peace and true happiness.

We can all laugh at a joke or smile at a welcoming comment but how many of us are happy with our lot in life?

In order to be so you be able to stand alone in a crowd and be able to observe those around you with an inquiring mind and not need their emotions to enliven your own. Loneliness is a terrible state of mind which can lead to depression, addictions and finally suicide. It is a state of mind that is like a swamp which devours all it encounters.

It takes an act of conscience will to move yourself out of the cauldron of mankind and into the vast choice of humanity. But by doing so you will find a world of enlightenment which will see you never alone.

That means you must absorb all that is around you and not let those who seek to block you out from the world feed off your emotional state.

So if you are lonely then begin tomorrow by observing the World around you and assessing your own needs and wants against that which it has to offer you not that which it has to take away from you. Being lonely is a state of mind. There is always somebody who will talk to you.

It is not somebody you need it is something to be part of that does not remove all your emotional well-being you require.

Observing the World around you is the first step towards creating your own World and one in which you are part of. Trying to be part of a World as complex as ours now is without an anchor for your reality is loneliness.

‘Know who you are then you can be who you are’.

Why is world peace so hard to attain?

They (our Governments) shake hands with Government who lock up their citizens because of their ethnic group or faith, who put them in labour camps, and who shoot then without trial.

https://www.quora.com/Why-is-world-peace-so-hard-to-attain/answer/Desmond-Last

Until we learn how to live without killing each other World Peace is not possible. We have democratically elected Governments in many parts of the World who are signatories to the International Convention of Human rights.

That convention does not allow children to die of starvation or from war. But they do – every day. We have also allowed crime to become too acceptable a part of our lives.

Yet our Governments appear on television and tell us how important it is that we allow all persons not to be harassed or bullied. They tell school children not to bully and harass. They tell us the People we will be arrested and go to Prison for life if we commit murder.

They (our Governments) shake hands with Government who lock up their citizens because of their ethnic group or faith, who put them in labour camps, and who shoot then without trial.

Our Governments then increase their hypocrisy by visiting those same countries and giving them AID money which allows those same Countries to arm more military and suppress their citizens rights with an even greater excess of force.

How can there ever be World Peace without adherence to the Principal of Defending the Weak and the Innocent and the Principal of respect for another human?

If I ever become the Prime Minister the United Kingdom I would close down every embassy in the UK whose Government abused human rights – and that would include China.

We must reform the U.N and use overwhelming Military Intervention to bring conflicts to an end and that means all of the Security Council not just the U.S.A the U.K and their allies.

Until we draw the red line of human rights and defend that red line we will never have World Peace.

Will peace ever exist?

There can be no Peace whilst we allow Evil to co-exist with those who are not Evil.

Desmond Last A Writer for World Peace

Yes there will be Peace but not in the immediate future. There can be no Peace whilst we allow Evil to co-exist with those who are not Evil. We also cannot live in Peace with each other whilst children starve to death and die in conflicts.

To rid ourselves of Evil we must fight, defeat and vanquish those who live by Evil’s Doctrine.

I will explain it this way; Many of us would agree that our elected Governments have made a mess of our World. The majority of us would hope that eventually we will elect Leaders who have the ability to work together to produce a World at Peace. But what of those who do not believe that mankind in total can be harmonious and that Governments are not able to govern because the electoral system gives away too much choice.

They too want a World at Peace but for them that most come from Domination not Democracy.

Why do you agree with Heraclitus when he said the only thing that’s constant is change?

Absolutely. The state of change is our life’s

Q and A from Quora.

Absolutely. The state of change is our life’s. We may say that ‘everyday is the same old same old’ but in fact as we get older the rate of change surprisingly increases not decreases. This is because our minds reduce boundaries as we get older and therefore we are so much more aware of change.

The Climate is also in constant change and accelerates that change exponentially – leading to a state of critical mass in which the climate and environmental pressures can no longer be contained in equilibrium and so the constant is climate change – a whirl storm of constant uncontrolled force which has no parameters and hence cannot be foretasted.

So too any Government State is in constant change. Never has a Government or an ‘era’ been able to withstand its own failure be it of social justice or economics.

The harder a Government tries to stop change the more powerful become the forces opposing it.

Which is why one day a blatant attempt to act ‘illegally – legally’ by both the U.K and Australian Governments in regard to the truth of their cover up of certain illegal research groups will one day promote their downfall.

Is it worth it to sacrifice one million people to create everlasting world peace?

There can be no everlasting Peace that comes about with the death of a million people. The deaths of one million people and more occured in 1914–1918 and 1939–1945 with no everlasting Peace.

This is my answer to this Q which is on Quora.

If I were the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, which is a country with nuclear weapons, which you would have to be equipped with in order to answer the question I would state this:

“Nuclear weapons have only one purpose and that is to kill in the millions. The only deterrent they have been is to ensure those Nations with Nuclear Weapons do not make a sudden decision to use them on other Nations with nuclear weapons.

They did not stop Al Qaeda killing 3000 Americans at 911 and they did not stop the Vietnam War or ISIS invading Syria and Iraq. I would use them at the negotiating table to provide a framework with other countries to discuss and achieve a planned and phased reduction in nuclear weapons. Which is a forum much promised but lacking in delivery.

However, if my only option to end an immediate threat to the United Kingdom from a nuclear military force was to use them specifically to bring an immediate end to the threat I would do so. It is highly unlikely that such a threat would involve one million civilians. It is also highly unlikely that such a situation would occur without any of the United Kingdom’s allies being involved. Therefore the question is too hypothetical to consider a more detailed response”.

I would also state that the United Kingdom as an Island is at much more of a risk from a hostile force than the majority of developed Nations. An island is a strategic target and one which is between Europe and the United States even more so. Unless we are able to ensure we know where every Nuclear Weapon in the World is there can never be a complete nuclear disarmament.

Theresa May did not give that answer. Without thinking May said ‘I would’ to the question by Jeremy Corbyn of would she kill 100,000 with a nuclear strike.

Let us hope that Theresa May is able to ‘think’ when faced with a real situation of a ‘United Kingdom under threat’.

Theresa May does not hesitate to say she would kill 100,000 with nuclear strike

There can be no everlasting Peace that comes about with the death of a million people. The deaths of one million people and more occured in 1914–1918 and 1939–1945 with no everlasting Peace.

1.5 million have died in Afghanistan since 1979. A negotiated Peace for the war weary people of Afghanistan is as distant as it has ever been.

If the World wants everlasting Peace then it must begin with the reform of the United Nations. The Security Council must be expanded, the veto dropped and every conflict dealt with by not taking sides.

How can you ensure that peace and security are achieved and sustained?

cropped-facebook-2.jpg

By providing a ‘World Legal Unified International Organisation’. This would be given a renewable mandate by the World to ensure any conflict which immediately puts at risk the safety of civilians and related infrastructure is immediately brought to an immediate end by overwhelming force.

It would be comprised of the relevant region military and would be under one command which does not take any side in the conflict.

If we cannot reform the United Nations to provide a Peace Mandate and the organization to enforce it then we should disband the U.N and form a new Organisation which will ensure Peace in the World.

The Organisation that will be required to enforce the peace Mandate would not be a massive military force that spends all its time marching up and down.

It would be a leadership and logistics organization which would use the relevant military.

This is the only way we will ever get World Peace and an end to terrorism.

Is world peace possible, or just a fantasy?

truth

This is my answer to this Question on Quora.

For me personally World Peace is a practical achievable state of World Affairs.

My solution for World Peace is simple and available;

To achieve World Peace we either reform the United Nations or replace it with the following Mandate.

‘To achieve World Peace a renewable World Mandate is required for a Legal Unified Overwhelming World Force, under a single command and without taking sides, to bring to an immediate end by all means available any conflict which immediately threatens the people and stability of the Country and Region involved’.

However, we live in a World where Governments do what is best to keep them in Political Power and not what is best for the World.

Therefore, until such times as such a Mandate exists without the veto then World peace is a fantasy.

What are the problems of culture of peace?

cropped-cropped-truth2.jpg

This is my answer to this Question on Quora.

There is a problem and that is that Peace can not be obtained by Peace. I wish it were not so but unfortunately Peace will only be obtained by the use of a Democratic Unified Legal Overwhelming Force – in effect what the United Nations was intended to be and has seldom ever been.

It is a parallel as to why true Socialism will never exist except as a dream for those who seek to achieve it. Not everybody is honest, unselfish, principled and loyal to a cause. In order to co-exist we must rid the World of Evil and that as God, Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad know is not an easy task.

Before we can achieve Peace, as otherwise mankind will destroy itself, we must first ensure we all want Peace.

To do that the enforced promotion of the culture of Peace must begin in the place which has in modern times sought so hard to bring Peace; the United Nations.

If we cannot achieve Peace through a Culture of informed dialogue then we must obtain Peace by force.

We must remove the barriers to Peace that exist to further Nation’s vested self-interest and promote instead a Conflict resolution that has the world’s mandate to stop any conflict by any means available and without taking sides.

Until we are able to stop all conflicts with the World’s Mandate for Peace then there can be no culture of ‘Peace for Peace’.

Can we ever have peace?

Yes we can. The majority of us live in peaceful co-existence. Yet our lives are made to the order of a few who want the World their way without sharing it.

The United Nations will not work together for Peace. The current structure and voting preferences of the United Nations allow their resources to be used for vested self-interest.

The United Nations requires urgent reform. It is causing more conflict than it is Peace with its inability to take positive action.

Any conflict must be resolved by the United Nations Member Nations without taking sides.

That is the only way we can have Peace.

The only person in the United Nations Security Council who will be able to bring reform is Nikki Haley the U.S Ambassador to the United Nations.

Her speeches to the U.N Security Council are a continual reminder of what is needed to be done if the World wants Peace; Actions not ‘me me’ speeches.
