Which country has the best spy agency?

Our Intelligence Services seem to be unaware of the threat posed by unmonitored bio-technology advancement and I believe of participation in this field by civilians and military personnel.

Unfortunately, I do not rate any of them very highly in the fields of biotechnology and Climate Change terrorism and criminality. Yes, when it comes to tracking down obvious terrorists they no doubt achieve what is achievable in the era of challenged resources – which is doublespeak for Governments who are rapidly running out of money.

However, in the up and coming ‘new threat’ department I have to say that they or at least their hierarchy would appear to be unable to grasp the ‘big picture’.

We are entering a new era where smart means thinking now and acting yesterday.

Our Intelligence Services seem to be unaware of the threat posed by unmonitored bio-technology advancement and I believe of participation in this field by civilians and military personnel.

In addition they do not appear to understand how climate change could be used as a weapon against the USA, the U.K. Russia and China. Europe would be sidelined by the blitzkrieg effect – from both climate and WMD effects.

In summary they are in the dust of an advancing storm of biotechnology. They also do not appear to appreciate that it is highly likely Climate Change will be used as a Trojan Horse for a totalitarian New World Order with assistance from the ‘enemy within’.

They do not listen to outside warnings because they have a culture of being egocentric. That is their Achilles Heel.

Anzac Day 25 April 2019.

I have written two Poems. One I finished on Anzac Day and at 6.30 am on that day I stood alone on the Western side of the Anzac Bridge in Sydney and read out my Anzac Tribute.

I hold very strong views regarding the appreciation of those who are prepared to risk their lives to protect their Nation and its Citizens. Maybe it is because my father was in the RAF and served in Malta during WW2 – where he met my mother who like the rest of Malta was bombed daily by the Nazis in an attempt to make the People of Malta surrendered. They never did. I uphold the view that we as a People are judged on how we protect those who cannot protect themselves.

I am a writer. All I can do is write words that no others can write so that we all understand that it is not just a memory we are giving thanks to but our futures for which lives were given.

Anzacs we seek that which you gave life for.

Anzacs. We seek thee from within the darkness of this today your dawn.

A rousing of our Nation with thee alongside for that which you did so aspire to be.

An aspiration of Nationhood born of independence, a stalwart toil and an undoubted bravery.

We stare into the ebb of darkness and from within a crimson of awakening are set afire by our own hopes which giveth pace to our dreams and a fulfillment of our horizons.

A fire of spirit that you our Anzacs have left as an eternal flame of sacrifice to ignite within us that which you so desired and fought for – a freedom and a future.

Today this fiery welcome to thee it doth be for the Anzacs and to all those who have giveth of life for their Peoples.

Is it worth it to sacrifice one million people to create everlasting world peace?

There can be no everlasting Peace that comes about with the death of a million people. The deaths of one million people and more occured in 1914–1918 and 1939–1945 with no everlasting Peace.

This is my answer to this Q which is on Quora.

If I were the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, which is a country with nuclear weapons, which you would have to be equipped with in order to answer the question I would state this:

“Nuclear weapons have only one purpose and that is to kill in the millions. The only deterrent they have been is to ensure those Nations with Nuclear Weapons do not make a sudden decision to use them on other Nations with nuclear weapons.

They did not stop Al Qaeda killing 3000 Americans at 911 and they did not stop the Vietnam War or ISIS invading Syria and Iraq. I would use them at the negotiating table to provide a framework with other countries to discuss and achieve a planned and phased reduction in nuclear weapons. Which is a forum much promised but lacking in delivery.

However, if my only option to end an immediate threat to the United Kingdom from a nuclear military force was to use them specifically to bring an immediate end to the threat I would do so. It is highly unlikely that such a threat would involve one million civilians. It is also highly unlikely that such a situation would occur without any of the United Kingdom’s allies being involved. Therefore the question is too hypothetical to consider a more detailed response”.

I would also state that the United Kingdom as an Island is at much more of a risk from a hostile force than the majority of developed Nations. An island is a strategic target and one which is between Europe and the United States even more so. Unless we are able to ensure we know where every Nuclear Weapon in the World is there can never be a complete nuclear disarmament.

Theresa May did not give that answer. Without thinking May said ‘I would’ to the question by Jeremy Corbyn of would she kill 100,000 with a nuclear strike.

Let us hope that Theresa May is able to ‘think’ when faced with a real situation of a ‘United Kingdom under threat’.

Theresa May does not hesitate to say she would kill 100,000 with nuclear strike

There can be no everlasting Peace that comes about with the death of a million people. The deaths of one million people and more occured in 1914–1918 and 1939–1945 with no everlasting Peace.

1.5 million have died in Afghanistan since 1979. A negotiated Peace for the war weary people of Afghanistan is as distant as it has ever been.

If the World wants everlasting Peace then it must begin with the reform of the United Nations. The Security Council must be expanded, the veto dropped and every conflict dealt with by not taking sides.

Why does everyone underestimate the Taliban?

I do not underestimate the Taliban. A 16 year old boy who watched as the Russians invaded his homeland of Afghanistan in 1979 and who fought the Russians and then the American and the British as well the troops from many countries of the World is now 54. He is of the most experienced and battle hardened warriors in the World.

When a young Marine is on duty in Afghanistan he is facing an enemy with a cause, a history and a future. What is the young Marine going to die for?

I have total respect for the American Soldier who is prepared to die to stop the spread of terrorism. But it is not right that America alone should be prepared to do what many other countries do not do in order to stop a rising terror.

The Taliban and ISIS are not the same. One is a cause for a homeland the other is a ideology for a purpose that has no place in Afghanistan or anywhere else in the World. Yes the West has often used its military might for strategic vested interest rather than regional stability and ISIS was born out of a flawed American Foreign Policy but terrorism must be stopped.

The U.S will not defeat terrorism by fighting the Taliban. A dialogue must begin that will ensure the Taliban denounce terrorism and America stops bombing innocent Afghanistan civilians.

Sometimes President Trump you gotta ‘just take it on the chin’.

cropped-facebook-2.jpg

Nobody President Trump gets it right 100 per cent of the time. On this
you are wrong. If I were President I would personally visit the family of
each of my Military who died for their Nation. If I could not make that
visit then I would expect the First Lady to make it. Nobody expects you
to be perfect President Trump and it is ok to apologize when you are wrong – sometimes you ‘gotta just take it on the chin’.
