My answer to How did Theresa May and the Conservative Party lose the 2017 UK general election?

Answer by Desmond Last:

Until this afternoon when I watched the House of Commons I put the majority of the reason for losing on a lack of a readable and understandable Manifesto and Theresa May’s ‘taking the people for granted’ as well as not May not realising that Austerity is over.

Then today I saw another major factor. Theresa May has been missing. The Theresa May I watched today has a sense of humour, is able to appear relaxed, does listen and is not a manifestation of Genghis Khan.

Welcome to yourself Prime Minister Theresa May. Perhaps now you will listen to new ideas and go with your heart instead of listening to somebody else's selfish ambition.
