My answer to Why didn't we see that the world held a candlelit vigil for Tehran after the ISIS attacks?
Answer by Desmond Last:
It might help if the World perceived Iran to be on the same Planet. Iran is to most of us is as closed off as North Korea.
It has little interaction with the rest of the World. Both its media and its Government have never respond to any comment or enquiry I have ever made.
It operates a closed economy in that I do not know one Iranian brand.
It also keeps going on about Israel as if Israel were responsible for everything in the World that is bad.
I suggest Iran moves on and becomes a movement for regional stability and peace.
Then Iran might get some support from the rest of the World.
I support Iran’s right to be part of the World but it is entrenched in its past and not its future.
