An Englishman will spend 2 weeks planning the BBQ and 2 weeks afterwards complaining about it.

An Australian will not think about the BBQ till he has had enough of work and stops for his BBQ. Then he will spend 2 weeks recovering from it.

As an Englishman/Australian who is exiled in the ‘ Land that Time Forgot’ – the U.K, I am homesick for Australia’s sense of fun.

That is the difference. In the U.K you live to work and in Australia you live to enjoy your life.
