The World is changing. But it is not our Governments who are changing it is the ‘People of the World’. The rise in the use of social media is allowing groups and interests to share information, combine causes and highlight abuse.
The majority of Social Media users are becoming increasingly aware of how little we are listened to by our Governments and how our Governments are prepared to ignore our rights for theirs.
The U.K is one of the World’s leading examples of a democracy that has stalled.
It is as if the Power Elite within the U.K Establishment believe that have a right to determine our Lives – Cameron and his clique were a classic example of that and May has taken it one step further by establishing a Power Group within the Cabinet to which the only answer is ‘Yes Prime Minister’.
This is dangerous, out-dated, out of touch and a threat to the voice of the U.K as an independent force for Democratic change throughout the World.
The U.K Government has lost all its credibility. Boris Johnson sounding off at the meeting of the Security Council last night about North Korea sounded distant and unattached to the reality of the situation . His puppy-like following of the U.S is why we will never be a leader.
Yes we are right to condemn North Korea. Yes when there are no options left then Military action will have to be taken.
But it was the U.S who only two weeks ago tested a new nuclear missile. Why do we need more nuclear weapons America?
Boris would have displayed leadership if he had gone to speak to Kim Jung Un instead of being an American puppet.
What is happenning in North Korea should not be happening. North Korea were involved in talks until George Bush cancelled them. Why is it not one World Leader will get on a plane and go and speak to Kim Jung Un?
This another opportunity for the U.K to show leadership but instead we sit on the sidelines and watch.
Our time for leadership is gone. We are no longer in Europe. If you want change in Europe then you will not be speaking to the U.K delegation it will be the French or Germans and with your wish list will come a budget.
In addition Theresa May’s failure to deal with Cyber-crime, Child Sex Abuse and Terrorism in the U.K makes her voice a failure on the World Stage.
To lead you need Leaders not Dictators and Foreign Secretaries who cannot be taken seriously.
