My answer to What’s your view on the UK parliament attack of March 2017?
Answer by Desmond Last:
The attack on Parliament illustrates the failure of the Home Office and the Senior Management of the Security Services to accurately predict, be aware of and prepare for such an attack.
The Policeman who so tragically lost his life was let down by his senior management and the Home Office who obviously never foresaw such an attack taking place. They should be sacked.
Why am I so hard on them? This is why.
MI6 rang my sister and asked her if she thought I was capable of violence and in as many words asked if I could be a terrorist. Me! No criminal record. A signatory of the Official Secrets Act when working for the Department of Transport and writings for World Peace.
All because I wrote 14 emails to David Cameron daring to question his policies and to relate to him a series of incident that have happened to me. Why did I write 14? Becasue he never answered any of them. After 14 I gave up.
I was also told by court order I had to attend a mental health assessment because they did not like the ‘tone’ of the emails.
Now months later I have a clean bill of Heath. I am not a security risk and my mental state is said in writing to be ‘there is nothing wrong with his mental health’.
If MI6 have got so much time on their hands and are able to waste their time on me then they have enough time to read my essay’s on ‘Counter Terrorism’. As MI6 will have already read my new work they will know it has the potential to reduce the terror threat. MI6 has never responded to my communications informing them of my new work.
Theresa May should also consider her part in radicalization. As supplying arms to bomb Yemen is not conducive to reducing the terror threat.
That is my view. The brave Police Officer lost his life because of the incompetence of his senior management and the Goverment.
