My answer to Why is a belief in God not considered to be a mental illness?

Answer by Desmond Last:

The answer is obvious. A belief in God is a choice. Just like a belief that there is no God is a choice.

So why would you consider making a choice a display of mental illness.

For many people in our World Mental Illness is a serious part of theri daily lives as is God for many others including myself.

Why is a belief in God not considered to be a mental illness?
