Is the idea of a perfectly peaceful world practically feasible?

My answer to Is the idea of a perfectly peaceful world practically feasible?

Answer by Desmond Last:

No it is not. We will never have World Peace until we have a reformed United Nations with a ‘Peace Mandate’.

Until the whole World is united with a Global Defense Force which does not take sides and who have a mandate to stop any conflict we will continue to see America and Russia taking sides in conflicts which represent their interest and not those of the World.

President Trump has had to send the American Fleet to act as a warning to North Korea. Why? Because nobody else will.

However, we should first be sitting down with Kim Jong Un and explaining and illustrating to him why trade is so much more beneficial to the people of North Korea than nuclear missile technology.

President Trump should have left his cosy bunker in Palm Sprigs and spent the weekend with Kim Jong Un or at least should have sent his Secretary of State there.

Once again America has to play ‘World Policeman’ because of the ineffectiveness of the United Nations. But it is a role that has cost too many lives and too many dollars.
