In my opinion as a man It is a statement of defiance and an acceptance of one’s ability to be accepted as a person not an object.
On the other hand it allows a woman to feel confident when she is leered at by men who will judge her for her looks and not her person.
I am no different to any man – except the men of the U.K who long ago lost their pride and Principle. I enjoy talking to women and will turn my head to whom I find attractive.
I enjoy the company of woman more than men. I know of and have directly experienced the harassment woman receive.
I have been in the company of men who belittle and bully woman. I have stood up for woman whenever possible even in physically threatening and dangerous situations.
I say to woman do not let men set your agenda. We need more of woman’s perspective ans involvement in our World.
It is mostly men who commit war on children – except of course for Prime Minster Theresa May who allows children to be bombed in Yemen and will not arrest U.K Cyber Criminals who use the Internet to sexually exploit woman and children.
