Is the BBC spreading disinformation in the UK?

My answer to Is the BBC spreading disinformation in the UK?

Answer by Desmond Last:

I do not consider that the BBC spreads disinformation by the act of telling outright fabrications. But what it does instead, which has the same effect, is to not report all the facts.

‘Facts speak for themselves’ until we apply our subjectivity. But first we must be able to take an objective view of all the facts and then by choice apply our subjective view of the World.

Take 10 people and ask each of them to draw a car. Not one of the drawings will be identical. Thus too are our versions of the World – they are all particular to each of us.

The BBC is not objective in what it decides to tell its viewers.

The BBC can no longer be relied on to provide its audience with a range of news which covers the main topics of the day. Which then allows the viewer to take a balanced view of the World and apply his subjectivity of choice.

It is over for the BBC as a respected broadcaster. We who view the World as one in which the power of the individual as a provider of change for the benefit of the community still exists use Social Media to obtain fact and opinion.

The BBC is for those who have become the people ‘robots of the state’ – Believing everything and questioning nothing.
