My answer to Visiting and Travel: What is the hardest thing to get used to after coming to the UK?
Answer by Desmond Last:
I cannot get used to the ease at which the People accept their mediocre and intellectually challenged Politicians.
I am no genius. Yet I shake my head in utter disbelief that a country which is unable to afford Social care for its senior citizens has to listen to the ‘Parrot-like’ bleating of Theresa May constantly repeating ‘The U.K is the fifth largest economy in the World’.
It may be for all the importers and foreign owned companies who take advantage of the tax credit system but it is not for the less-well off and elderly.
Just as ludicrous is the Labour Opposition who have a leader who lives in an Economic Time Machine and whom nobody wants.
You could order the whole population to the Cliffs of Dover and tell them to jump and they would.
They might as well because their Politicians have no solutions.
