Since 1980 Climate Disasters have increased in the U.S to a cost between the years 2000 and 2016 of $777 billion. From 1980 to 1990 the cost was $250 billion.
This of course has nothing to do with all the chemicals we have been pouring into our bio-systems which began at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
It also has nothing to do with the removal of vast amounts of forest which began even earlier.

Wonder what it is then that is causing this sharp increase over such a short time?
