Until we implement a Global system of verifiable data collection into a real-time model which we can use to parallel the extrapolation of the data collected then yes.
In the meantime we must learn to deal with the extremes of weather which each time they occur will increase in intensity.
The problem we will face is that by the time we all agree that we cannot continue to live organised economic and social lives because of climate extremes it will be too late to reverse the changes trend both in intensity and accelerating rate of change.
