Counting the Costs: Climate Change and Coastal Flooding
Climate Impacts on Coastal Areas
Coastal flooding is a real danger. It does not matter whether you believe in climate change or not you still have to deal with rising sea-levels. House prices, businesses and local economies will be adversely affected.
Climate Change is an accelerating rate of change. That means the incidence of weather extremes will increase and the intervals between extremes will reduce.
There will be a point at which the duration and intensity will result in a permanent state of climate change.
