Yes. If you go to New York on a motorcycle take out xtra insurance and make sure you are strapped to the saddle. Whilst riding through NY I rode over the daddy of potholes and nearly left my Harley for a space orbit. That aside I enjoyed the country roads and towns more than I did the cities.
Americans are friendly and do engage strangers in conversation. I have been back in the U.K for 4 years and can count on the fingers of my hands the times anybody has engaged me in an exchange of views.
American pride themselves on their service and quality of product. I enjoyed riding from Los Angeles to New York via Galveston and kept to the country roads.
Every American I met was friendly and the Police were helpful and polite.
The America that we see on the TV is very different from the America that exists in the country.
America has a lot of untapped tourist potential – I mean a lot. It is quite amazing that a Country which has do much to offer the visitor is so mediocre in promoting it as a holiday destination.
Donald Trump should be very careful that people do not boycott America. Supporting groups who openly break the law and act against the will of God is not going to endear people to America as a holiday destination.
