ISIS like Al Qaeda will never be defeated. The West has been trying to destroy Al Qaeda and the Taliban since they were no longer of any use to them once the Russians had left Afghanistan.
The West may impose a strategic military defeat on ISIS but by now key groups will have already left the battlefield.
Your backyard is now their battlefront. By imposing ever more costly security and economically destructive travel delays as well as closing down tourist destinations they hope to bring about a change in Middle East Policy.
Never underestimate Al Qaeda and ISIS. They are smart motivated and cause-driven people. They sent the whole Iraq Army running for their lives. Countless bombing missions have not defeated them. Set in stone is the fact ‘they will never surrender’.
Still they have not been driven out of Syria and Iraq let alone Libya, Yemen and Africa. They are not going to just let themselves be destroyed. The US Military budget is over $500 billion a year but they have not been able to defeat ISIS.
Dropping an A bomb on ISIS held territory is not going to stop an American born in America. schooled in America and employed in America from strapping on his suicide belt and walking into the New York Metro.
The only way to stop the use of the ‘Word of God’ as modified by ISIS, is to ensure that a credible alternative exists, which at the moment it does not. You can thank Theresa May and Obama for the total lack of support my alternative has received.
The CIA and MI6 are intellectual dinosaurs when it comes to dealing with the mindset of ISIS and would-be suicide bombers. MI6 in particular dwell in caves with no power so what lightbulbs they do have in their minds cannot be seen – that is why they cannot stop your next door neighbour wanting to blow you up.
To stop ISIS we need a Global unified legal strategy and a ‘World of God’ that does not produce the need to go to Heaven with the deaths of others as your proof to God you are loyal to him.
We also need to stop killing Muslims – civilians. Both by war and economic isolation aided by corrupt Governments who we throw Donar Aid money at. Over 1,000,000 (One Million) Afghans have died since Russia invaded Afghanistan in 1979. When will it end?
