My answer to I never have an opinion about anything. How do I change that?
Answer by Desmond Last:
Type Aleppo Syria into your computer. Watch the videos of fear, pain, and mindless destruction. Listen to the people ask us why? Why do you not help us?
Then remember the worst fear and the greatest pain you have ever had.
Then go for a walk until you see a cute little one year old loved by his mother and father.
Laugh at the child’s innocent smile and delightful giggles.
Now imagine that same cute kid with blood pouring out of his face, his limbs torn and bloody, his eyes wide with shock and fear. Multiply your worst fear and pain a 1000 times – would you give it to the child you are watching?
There are two men who with one telephone call could stop that same pain and fear for every child in Aleppo and in Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.
There names are Obama and Putin. Now what is your opinion of them?
That should give you an opinion.
