Answer by Desmond Last:
You are sat at home. It is a hot windy day. You do not believe that climate change is caused by mankind. As far as you are concerned it is a naturally occurring phenomenon. After all who believes Governments? We do not have an International Body we have all voted for to check everything. There is no International system for verifying the statements. It is not as if MI5 and the CIA check that the facts are from verified sources.
So it is possible they could all be wrong? That 150 countries are going to spend $100 billion a year from 2020 to combat climate change on the basis of a maybe.
But hang on you say ‘if it is so important like Obama said why is not a mandatory agreement. They can pull out whenever they want’.
So you ignore it all. Then you smell the smoke. You did not hear the warning on the radio because where you live in Hollywood climate change is never a problem.
Afterwards still in shock you looked at the smoldering ruins of your 10 bed-roomed mansion and the burnt out bodies of your two Ferrari's and the Rolls Royce. You could not find your cute chiwawa’s.
You said to the Fire guys ‘What caused this’?. He looked at you and said ‘ Bush-fire out of control. The whole of Hollywood has gone up in smoke. It don’t matter if you are rich or poor the fire takes it all.’
No matter what you think is causing the bush-fires you still have to deal with them.
It is not a natural occurring phenomenon. The evidence is that ‘the result of the accelerating rate of change of our climate is the product of the changes we are making to the Earth’s biological and pressure systems’.
