We should ask the U.S Defense Advanced Research Project Agency that question. Because that is exactly what they are conducting research into.
DARPA and the Brain Initiative
To be able to intrude into a person's mind is like being a cyber phedpohile. It is disgusting.
The ramifications of this type of research have never been debated in the wider community.
If the research allows a system to enter the mind that means it had the ability to control the mind including those of babies and young children.
If the research is not monitored on a 24/7 basis and all the laws that exist are not enforced we could end up with people whose minds are 24/7 on open circuit.
What would happen if you go into the mind of somebody who knows the launch sequence of a nuclear weapons system?
What will happen if you do not know somebody is in your mind and the whole world is watching your thoughts on big screens? All without your consent.
We should be asking our Government why they are financing research which could be used to destroy our Privacy – which is illegal.
