My answer to How would Theresa May differ from David Cameron as Prime Minister of the UK?
Answer by Desmond Last:
Theresa May for whatever reason known only to herself has firmly shut the door on democracy in the United Kingdom. May was Home Office Secretary for 6 years. In the Home Office Power is absolute. The rights of the Citizen are only upheld as long as the Home Office allow them.
I have recently been the victim of gross harassment by a body whose overall management is carried out by the Home Office. May was the Home Office Minister at the time the matter occured. May never even acknowledged my emails to her office
Theresa May will one day have to defend her part in the matter in a Court of Law.
The Home Office will not enter into dialogue nor will they take responsibility for any matter you raise with them. The final letter I received from them was both rude and abrupt..
I am now taking the mater to the Parliamentary Ombudsman and then to court.
My point is that May is a product of an overbearing and draconian Ministry who see the need for control not democracy.
May will not listen to the people of the U.K. May views sees Brexit as mission regardless of any alternatives or new ideas.
I have used my example to show that May will be no different to Cameron. He did not listen either.
