My answer to I’ve just received death threats. Someone wants to “dox” and murder me. Revealed my fiance’s name. Wha…
Answer by Desmond Last:
If somebody has warned you of all the terrible things they are going to do to you then they are not a professional. They also have left a trail. Emails can be traced even with an alias.
The first thing to do is make sure the Police are informed. Then the next is to go Public on as much Social Media as possible. Post the emails and ask the world if anybody has had a similar style email.
If it is a troll type threat it is likely you will not be the only victim. The Police are unlikely take investigative action even if it is an organised troll.
Organised or group trolling is a threat we must all work to stop.
These nasty gutless people will home in on one person and make their life a misery. They may even be involved in gang stalking. Some actually think they are getting paid for cyber-stalking and following people.
Everytime I get a nasty unwarranted Trolls on the internet I screenshot them – I also Google for Facebook and photos of them. This is so if it continues I can ask the Police to investigate or I can sue them. As soon as you receive a nasty comment screenshot it and block them – and ask everybody else to do the same.
Keep an eye out to note if you see the same people when you go out. Take a video camera with you.
If it is a personal grudge then you will have to go through your past to see what triggered it.
I have had some nasty attempts to intimidate me. I make sure I keep a record of everything. A diary is very important. Put it up as a Blog.
Do not react to the messages or reply. Your reply is part of their ‘kick’.
Until the Government legislate positive verification then we must deal with it ourselves. The Police do not have the resources. That means blocking all Trolls and pooling information on them – a Troll database would be good.
