Children dying in war. Children losing legs in war. Children losing parents in war. Children starving in war. Children with little or no medical facilities in war. These are all circumstances the Security Council are by legal agreement obliged to do all they can to prevent.

There are five permanent members of the Security Council. The U.K. Russia, U.S.A, China and France.

The five members are required to co-operate to bring Peace and Security to the World.

The five members are not by International Agreement and Law allowed to take opposing sides in any conflcit.

Chapter V | United Nations

There is no exemption for any President, Prime Minister or Military Commander in any United Nations agreement which allows for the killing of civilians.

Article 24 of the Functions and Powers of the Security Council explains its main function.

  1. In order to ensure prompt and effective action by the United Nations, its Members confer on the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security, and agree that in carrying out its duties under this responsibility the Security Council acts on their behalf.
