Date mining is what it is all about. But you do not have access to all our bits of info that Microsoft and Facebook do . So you are not going to be able to use our personal information to be target product specific.
Unless you are able to understand the ‘culture character’ of the sailboat owner you will be just another product dumper.
Yachties are by nature conservative. I speak from experience. For 12 years I sold boats to both powerboat and sailboat buyers.
The majority of sailboat owners will take their time and consider their purchases.
They will want value for money and product durability.
If it does not have an everyday use they will probably not want it.
I would suggest that you create a newsletter and trail some product offers without having to lay out the stock cost.
Avoid gimmicks and provide a product road test.
The products do not have to be boat related they could also include cars and four-wheel drives.
