I sold new and used yachts and powerboats from my business Sydney Boat Sales. When I listed a boat for sale I would send a mini-video of the boat to potential boat buyers on my list.
But and it is a big but. They have to want it.
All my buyers had requested that they be informed when a certain type of boat became available.
Anybody who has the money to buy a boat or a luxury home has not got the time to be engulfed with social media advertising.
The best way to use social media is for marketing rather than advertising. For word of mouth and product testing it is good, and hard to beat.
The other essential tool is a newsletter with an industry sector evaluation. It allows you to display your professionalism.
