My answer to What would be a rigorous definition of inner peace?

Answer by Desmond Last:

I judge myself by God. I say to myself would God allow this? Then I say what would God do?

I try to apply principle to practice and honor to trust. That is how I achieve inner peace.

Inner Peace is a product of oneself. It is your own standing in the world judged by yourself.

That is as close as I can get to a rigorous application of inner peace.

I do not see how inner peace can be rigorously applied. Peace comes in many forms and a lack of exterior peace can produce a whole range of conflicting emotions.

It all depends from what perspective you are viewing your reality in relation to that of others.

I may achieve inner peace if I shut out the 10,000 children who die of malnutrition and disease everyday, but when I let it enter my pool of available emotions I find it tested.

We all want Inner Peace but we must earn it.
