I would pay a visit to the Oxford Street.
Although is is predominantly a night scene for Gay Clubs the mix is of all sexes.
The clubs advertise across all medium and will provide you with some good advice.
ARQ, Midnight Shift, Stonewall are all well-attended clubs that have been around for quite a while. I have danced at all three so I know them well.
They are all friendly and no doubt the managers will point you in the right direction.
They never get going till at least 10.00p.m. Suggest you call in late afternoons.
