My answer to What is the best photograph of government corruption?
Answer by Desmond Last:
Our Governments support a system of providing money to the United Nations, to Aid and Charity Organisations and to African and other Governments, who have fraudulently misused billions of taxpayer dollar's for purposes other than it was intended.
They even admit it. David Cameron as Prime Minister said to Queen Elizabeth 2 that Afghanistan and Nigeria were ‘fantastically corrupt. Then as if he had entered ‘Alice in Wonderland’ he chaired a Global Meeting on Anti-Corruption with Nigeria and Afghanistan present.
Obama paid $43,000,000 for a $500,000 LPG Gas Station in Afghanistan. Nobody is able to find the missing millions. Between 2002 and 2013 the U.S Government spent $100 billion on non-military AID. Where has it all gone?
In 2014, 16,000 children younger than 5 died every day — most from preventable causes. It’s estimated that nearly half of these deaths were tied to hunger. That’s about one every 10 seconds. Hunger Facts – 30 Hour Famine
They die because of corruption: financial and moral. We have the money, the resources, the technology and the laws to ensure that children do not die of starvation and malnutrition.
Giving AID in order to direct Governments for your own purposes has not worked.
If it worked they would not die.
The rest of us including our own Government’s and Greece have to borrow money and pay it back. African and other Governments that are given AID should be no different.
I have written a new system it is outlined on www.showempathy.one
