It could take control of its weapons communication systems. This would enable to arm and fire its nuclear weapons systems.
This is a real possibility and this is how it could happen.
The United States Military research works in partnership with the business community through the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency DARPA
The Agency puts out tenders for Research Groups to apply for funding from the American taxpayer through the Military and other budgets.
One example is described in Science Daily
The $26 million research includes research into neuro robots" controlled by brain signals from human operators.
Now that was in 2002. So how far have they progressed since 2002?
$60 million is being spent in 2016 on computer to mind research. All funded by the U.S.A. and all in black and white for all to read.
The problem with mind to computer research is that you have no control over it.
Those who are doing the research are fitted with it and the implants that are used to transmit and receive date can be bought ‘over the counter’.
That means there is no such classification as ‘Top Secret’ anymore or ‘Only for the Eyes of the President’
It means any group and or country is able to access ‘classified information’ all they need to do is interrupt the mind to computer transmissions.
Let us then take the implant and put it on or in somebody with or without their knowledge, or as part of a classified research project so they will not tell anybody.
Let's do that to key military personnel. Telling them they are part of a research project and are not to tell anybody..
Then you have access to the communications and control systems. You are able to duplicate them or control those who operate them.
You could worst case fire your own nuclear weapons at your own country.
This is not imagination gone wild. The mind to computer technology is well advanced and paid for in its millions by America. Ask DARPA they will tell you they have several research projects on-going.
