Answer by Desmond Last:

Sydney has plenty to do and plenty to see.

For Food go to King Street Newtown. It has every type of food. It runs from one of the main roads into Sydney to St Peter’s. You can get there by train or bus.

It is next to Sydney University so it has fringe clothes and fringe pubs. It is both gay and straight. It also has lots of alternative shops.

For clubbing you have either Oxford Street – gay and straight or Kings Cross – mostly straight.

You also have downtown near George Street.

For days out go to Manly – beach and the Blue Mountains – bush.

For clothes go to the top of Oxford Street.

For beachwear go to Bondi Beach.

For scenic drive take the coast road to Melbourne.

For Chinese you have Chinatown in the City centre.

As you are on a budget stick around the Newtown area and Glebe area.

The pubs have bands or music in Newtown.

You can walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and also the Anzac Bridge – both have great views.

You can get a bus to the Heads -Vaucluse and see the whole of Sydney Harbour.
