These are some suggestions.
Without the right system(s) you might as well hand them the money
You know each pick-up and drop-off. You have Google and GPS and in order to run an efficient system you will have to use a booking system. You must be able to 24/7 real-time the bike’s mileage.
So you will also need some software that tracks the bike and provides location.
Using the mobile phones linked back to the Office and using off the shelf software is the best idea.
With software do not develop your own. But make sure you buy something you can develop yourself later.
Do not buy the most expensive software. There is plenty around. Find the software you like and then ask who else uses it and call them up for an opinion.
Make sure the software has 24/7 service.
I sold Water Taxis whilst I was a boat broker on Sydney Harbor so I know the value of good booking systems.
You need a good commission system so that your riders want your money not somebody else’s.
The other is loyalty. If you look after your riders and their bikes they will look after you. Be original and be the best. Everybody wants to work for ‘Top Dog’
Hope that helps.
