Why did the UK want to leave the EU?

My answer to Why did the UK want to leave the EU?

Answer by Desmond Last:

I wanted to leave because the EU has not addressed the problems of our World, with a method that involves the People whose Social Justice and Individual Sovereignty within the Nation-State, it is so entrusted to protect and advance.

Our world is not just about buying a product at the cheapest possible price at the lowest median wage cost.

“Nor is it about representation without democratization”

It is also not about using a Trading Partnership as a Cartel to push through Labour Reform through the back door of economic market advantage, and the loss of product individuality through small business increased market conformity.

I expected our U.K Politicians to give Europe a new vision. We want a Europe that trades as a Co-operative Partnership. So far our U.K Politicians have failed to provide us with our future as a vision of independence within a United Europe.

The Politicians of the U.K do not seem to understand that many of us who voted out still want to be part of Europe. But with a new Federation of co-operation that allows Nations Sovereignty that retains a common aim.

We also do not want Trade Agreements that allow EU citizens to flood our country.

Schulz, Juncker & Tusk of the EU have to take equal responsibility for what has just happened and understand that we do not want a Super-State nor a European Army. A European army would not have stopped Syria, Afghanistan , Libya, Iraq or Yemen. So what exactly would it, do apart from cost billions?

I want the EU to consider reform or the UK will form a European Union of Federation with those countries that are outside of the EU and with those that may choose to leave the E.U.

There is little point in the U.K being a voice in the impending darkness.

How can we proceed as a Nation without a vision for the future?

This about so much more than trade agreements and tariffs.

This should be about the U.K taking a lead in shaping the future of Europe. We are still in Europe and the EU cannot afford to ignore us.

Unfortunately a vision for Europe for the U.K needs all party support. But our UK Politicians seem more interested in their own ambitions than those of the Nation.

We cannot afford to keep the EU at arms length. We must work with our European Partners to put forward a more democratic vision for Europe

The U.K has the experience and the trading Partners outside of the E.U to confront the Union with reform. But it does not have the leadership

We cannot afford to wait till September for a new Prime-Minister nor should we be told who are Prime-Minster should be.

It is time to clear the decks with a General Election so we and the business World know where we are going.

That is why I wanted to leave the E.U so that we would form a new European template that we could then use as a catalyst to change within Europe.

This is a crossroads in democracy. If we do not go forward in Europe as “united in our aims but sovereign in our intent” the EU may eventually break-up completely and all the work and money spent would have been for nothing.
