My answer to Could Donald Trump be the one who unites the parties? Seeing as both sides don't like him?
Answer by Desmond Last:
Yes absolutely. Donald Trump is only a Republican because it was easier than being an Independent.
Throughout his campaign his party have been the people of America.
He will put policies to Congress not based on party but based on the good of America.
He will place the cost benefit of his ideas to the Congress and Senate so that they see that everybody benefits from his ideas.
He is the ‘deal-maker’. That is what he does. In his deals – the policies – everybody will win, but the people will win most of all.
The Chinese will love him and hate him. They will love him because he respects business and all its codes of behavior.
But they will hate him because after each deal he negotiates for America they will kick themselves afterwards.
He already has the respect of many of both parts for putting himself on the line. At 70 years of age and with a bulging wallet he did not need to be a assassination target.
He has been the butt of every joke, the receiver of every insult. Even today a person in one of my answers about him compared him to Hitler.
He has never given up. Respect is earned not given. He is earning a grudging respect from both Republican and Democrat.
I believe we will see a new more focused Congress – with the leader Obama never was.
