My answer to What are some reasons, besides freedom of speech, against banning climate denial?
Answer by Desmond Last:
I do not believe that just because somebody is making a statement that is wrong, or I do not agree with them, is a reason for banning them.
Every person that agrees we need to take immediate positive action on our climate, and not the delayed reaction of John Kerry’s Paris 21 ,is another reason that the world will ask why Paris 21 was accepted.
Therefore every person who converts from being a skeptic to a person who accepts that mankind is destroying our Planet is a plus.
I welcome those who disagree with me. Because it is an opportunity to put my point of view forward for others to read it and the possibility it will raise questions in their own mind.
So the more skeptics that are able to pose questions the better.
I have not yet met one who has been able to support the case for not dealing with climate change with any valid arguments.
Ask any climate change skeptic if they would like his or her children to spend their lives in Beijing China without a gas mask – is always the first point to make.
I always begin by saying even if you believe that climate change is man-made you still have to deal with the negative changes to our climate.
Of course here in the UK and Australia the people Robots and the lining of the sewer pipes, the UK and Australian media, never discuss anything or report anything to do with me as the UK and Australia only care about themselves and not the rest of the world –
which is a good point to make outside any UK and Australian embassy.
My name is not David Cameron or Hillary Clinton, who have allowed and not stopped the censorship of my views that I have had to endure me for 8 years.
I welcome all debate. There is always something to be learned.
