My answer to Is David Cameron's Big Society just BS?
Answer by Desmond Last:
It is not BS – it is all that he has got to offer the people of the United Kingdom. We are discussing a man who sent three senior Police Officers from London to interview me. Because I had sent 14 emails to his Office which questioned his policies, gave warnings about the Environment and Economy and detailed the human rights abuse I have been subject to.
I was considered a threat to his physical safety. There was not one threat other than legal action in the emails. This is a man who has not had one original thought in his life. This is a man who surrounds himself with choreographed assemblies of supporters and pre-approved questions. Can you imagine Cameron walking into a hostile crowd to give a speech to which they would then cheer and applaud such that Lloyd George did when speaking against war in South Africa in 1901~? Cameron has been scathing of Donald Trump but Trump has gone to the People – in a way that Cameron never could.
Of Cameron’s intent to want the best for the United Kingdom ,of that there is no doubt. But which United Kingdom? The UK of Euro citizens who use the life-taxes of UK Citizens to use overwrought Public Services that simply cannot cope with the Population numbers of the U.K. It is not xenophobic to state that the U.K is full. It is not racist to want the Military to search every vehicle and person coming in and leaving the U.K – it is called good security.
Or is his the U.K of pomp and ceremony and Establishment Corruption, UK Banks who launder the AID money he gives to corrupt Countries and old school chums rewarded with honours and Government positions?.
Theresa May tells us that crime figures are lower. How? The population is increasing and many Euro Citizens come from countries where crime is higher than ours.
Is this Cameron’s Big Society – Big enough to take the labour residue from poorly performing economies and borrow (£1.6 Trillion and increasing at £5200 a second) to pay for the infrastructure they need? Boris Johnson offers no answers either. His Churchillian vision comes out of the History book not the future.
I have stated many times before. Cameron needs to ask the Question. What is the optimum population size for the U.K.?
His Big Society is a mirage. It does not include the 3 million UK senior Citizens over the age of 80 who cannot get the NHS and care the have paid for all their lives. It does not include all the soldiers who died in Afghanistan for a Peace he is unable to negotiate. It does not include the growing homeless. It does not include the children who will not have a future, let any schoolteacher time because of growing class numbers. It does not include his new wage serfs – the nearly one million on zero-hours contracts. It does not include me and my right to a life with human rights not as I have been deprived of them by Cameron.
Cameron does not have a Big Society he has a increasingly divided society.
